Gibbs: Obama not worried about losing control of the message
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs told members of the press that the president wasn’t worried that he had lost control of the message.
“[We are] less interested in the day to day scorekeeping which has always counted him down and counted him out. We have been called idiots before. We understand that but the president is not focused on that and the president is focused on the decisions that he has to make to get the pillars for economic progress in place, whether it is ensuring that the recovery act is done in a way that gives people confidence about the money that is being spent to create jobs and put money back in their pockets,” said Gibbs.
