‘Anonymous’ allegedly threatens to release personal info on Manning’s prison guards
It’s hard to say what is and is not an action by the protest group “Anonymous” — considering they have no formal leadership and members mostly just follow whatever campaign they’re interested in — but an alleged threat against soldiers guarding Pvt. Bradley Manning is being taken seriously by the Department of Defense.
Someone with “Anonymous” allegedly threatened to release the guards’ personal information onto the Internet. While this may be sensitive information, it was unclear if the warning or even the proposed act constituted a crime.
