Occupy Wall Street protester: Time running out to hold corporations accountable
An “Occupy Wall Street” protester from Connecticut said he joined the demonstration in New York because he feared time was running out to hold corporations accountable for hoarding wealth.
“I chose to come down here because I realized that we may have a very narrowing time margin on making a difference in the world, and holding corporations accountable for constantly demanding that they have increased profit margins… some of us gave up our jobs, not just myself of course, there is an amazing group of people here. Everybody really has deep integrity of spirit.”
“We know that the time is running out, not just for us in America, but for the world population,” he added. “We’ve got to hold these corporations accountable.”
The protest entered its fifth day on Wednesday.
