Woman leaves ex’s engagement ring in Salvation Army kettle
One Salvation Army bell-ringer got a surprise this holiday season: an unknown donor left an engagement ring, wrapped in a note and a 20 dollar bill in her kettle. The note, written on a scrap of flowered paper, read:
I haven’t used this in over 7 years. Hope it does better for you than it did for me! God bless – He is the Reason for the Season.
The Salvation Army hasn’t yet determined the value of the donation.
