Parody of Clint Eastwood ad calls it quits on Detroit
There would be no Chrysler Super Bowl commercials starting figures such as Clint Eastwood or Eminem if Mitt Romney had his way, according to liberal comedian Andy Cobb.
Using Romney’s infamous 2008 New York Times column, Cobb recreated the now infamous commercial to hang the message around the former Massachusetts’ governor’s neck.
Playing off of Eastwood’s “It’s halftime America” line, Cobb provided his own sports analogy: “Yeah, it’s halftime in America. And playing two halves is a lot, so, good game.”
