Planned Parenthood arsonist: They’re killing babies there
The 50-year-old man accused of setting off a bomb at a Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin said he attacked the clinic because “they’re killing babies there,” according to Fox 11 News.
Outside the U.S. District Court in Green Bay on Wednesday, Francis Grady told reporters that he started the fire at the Planned Parenthood clinic in Grand Chute.
“There was no bomb, it was gasoline,” he said.
Grady also said he was “here to do good and not wrong.”
Pro-Life Wisconsin, which has protested outside the Planned Parenthood clinic, said it had never heard of Grady. But police suspect he was involved in anti-abortion protests in the past.
The fire caused little damage to the building and nobody was injured. Police arrested Francis Grady on Tuesday after examining security footage showing a white sport utility vehicle with unique markings.
Grady is charged with arson of a building used in interstate commerce and intentionally damaging a property used to provide reproductive health services. If convicted, he could face up to 21 years in prison.
