Inmate: Sandusky heckled by other prisoners
A Pennsylvania inmate told The Daily that convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky’s reputation preceded him in the Centre County Correctional Facility – and that the other prisoners let him know about it.
“At night, we were singing ‘Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone,’” said the inmate, who only identified himself by his first name, Josh. The line comes from the Pink Floyd song, “Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2).”
Sandusky, who was found guilty Friday on 45 of 48 counts of child sexual abuse, was taken back to the Centre County facility following the verdict, the same place in which he was incarcerated in December after a grand jury added more charges against him.
In December, Josh said, Sandusky was placed in a cell used for sexual offenders or prisoners with mental illnesses, and prisoners weren’t allowed to communicate directly with him, but they heckled him at night.
Sandusky is currently on suicide watch while he awaits his sentencing, which CBS News reports is expected to take place in about three months.
