11 puppies found ‘skinned to the bone’ in Pennsylvania park
The Lehigh County Humane Society on Sunday confirmed that a bag of 11 skinned, dead puppies was found in a park in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania.
In a Saturday Facebook post, the Lehigh Valley Pitbull Awareness Club said it would offer a $100 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. By Sunday, the reward had grown to $600 “thanks to anonymous donations.”
Anyone with information about the crime has been encouraged to call State Police at 610-395-1438. People wishing to pledge reward money can contact the Lehigh Valley Pitbull Awareness Club on their Facebook page, at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 484-764-7779.
WFMZ-TV speculated that there could be a “serial animal torturer on the loose” because another puppy was found skinned and cooked in Lehigh County earlier this month.
