Jon Stewart on Super Bowl ads: Candy feels pain, kissing a Jew is controversial, and a man ‘f*cking’ a horse
The Daily Show host Jon Stewart reviewed the Super Bowl on his show Monday night, lampooning the events highlights and bloopers.
Stewart was particularly intrigued by the new and controversial Super Bowl ads that aired.
He noted companies had decided to send the message that “our candy feels pain when you eat it” and “our chips are so good even a goat will eat them.”
However, the GoDaddy ad in which Israeli model Bar Refaeli intimately kissed a less-than-handsome computer nerd received the most controversy. Stewart objected that kissing a Jew was controversial, before learning the controversy arose because it violated the American belief “that affection should only take place between looks-equals.”
“By the way, how was this objectionable, but everybody was perfectly fine about the ad with the guy who was clearly fucking his horse?” Stewart remarked. “I’m not saying I blame him.”
