Republican congressman apologizes for son’s racist, sexist, anti-gay tweets
The news forced Rep. Joe Heck (R-NV) to apologize for his teenage son’s racist, sexist and anti-gay comments on Twitter. Heck told Buzzfeed he was “extremely disappointed” by his son’s “offensive and inappropriate language.”
Joey Heck, 16, repeatedly used anti-gay and racial slurs on his Twitter account. He also complained about female moderators and said he wanted to slap “this Indian Muslim whatever she is” girl in his class.
When told Obama had promoted sports, the teenage boy responded with: “yeah like spear chucking and rock skipping. The sports they do in his home country…”
In another tweet, he claimed that Obama wasn’t the one who gave the order to kill Osama bin Laden.
“Obama didn’t make the call to kill Osama… That was the intelligence committee #iwouldknow,” the tweet said.
