UPDATED: Two dead and two injured in Reno medical facility shooting
Authorities in Reno, Nevada, said four people were injured and the gunman is dead following a shooting attack at a local hospital, KRNV-TV reported on Tuesday.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reported that the shooting took place on the campus of the Renown Regional Medical Facility. State Sen. Debbie Smith (D), who was at the facility for a meeting, told the Journal police quickly initiated a lockout.
“I’m in the building across from the parking lot, they won’t let anybody out,” Smith told the Journal. “They just moved all the people from where it took place into the main building. They told me I should plan on staying in here for an hour.”
