In wake of Ft. Hood shooting, conservative gun nuts immediately shoot off their mouths
It is a sad fact of life that, in this world that the NRA has made, nothing brings out the hot gun lovin’ like a tragic shooting that happens to someone else at a good safe distance.
In the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, while most American parents were pulling their kids a little bit closer and holding them a little bit tighter, NRA gun nuts reached for the closest AR-15 at hand, and stroked the barrel in an almost erotic fashion while softly murmuring, “Don’t worry baby, I’ll take care of you. Nobody will ever come between us. I love you.”
And, with so many shootings these days, these folks are already jacked up on defensiveness, with a healthy heapin’of sociopathy drizzled all over it like the blood of innocent children who formerly lived and breathed in a country that refused to protect them by manning up and passing a few sensible gun laws.
On Wednesday night, as news of the shooting at Ft.Hood started trickling out, so did the reactions.
So let’s take a walk down the memory lane that was … ‘later that evening‘ and see what delights there were to be found.
First out of the gate was former Hollywood agent, Breitbart contributor, and guy who liked to dress up and hang out with real soldiers for the vicarious butchness of it, Pat Dollard:
He returned later to defend himself … in a manner of speaking:
But wait…there’s more!
Perky Katie Pavlich, recent U of A co-ed, Townhall something or other, and future full-time Fox News fluffy-headed news misinterpreter, chimed in with some helpful advice for the commanding general of Ft. Hood because, obviously, a career in the military never prepared him to be around soldiers and military bases and guns and death and shit. Like U of A….Go Wildcats!
Also, too. Benghazi! IRS, Fast& Furious, and Benghazi!
Our winner for the evening turned out to be radio screech weasel, pee-er on dead people, and thing-that-you-would-get-if-Michelle-Malkin-and-Sarah-Palin-had-a-bile-child, Dana Loesch, who made Pat Dollard look positively artful in his Twitter Tourettes.
Christina Hassinger criticized Loesch on Twitter for attacking Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America founder Shannon Watts. Loesch did not like this, no sireee bob. However, the witty repartee did not go well for Dana:
Of course, Dana had a chance to respond with, say: ” Oh wow, so sorry about you mother, you have my deepest sympathies after she died trying to save a bunch of children who are close in age to mine. God bless”…
That would be a sign of weakness that is reserved for people who aren’t soul dead grifters pitching red meat stupidity to lowest-common-denominator mouth-breathers who spend the day listening to hate talk radio, brought to you by reverse mortgages come-ons and male catheter come hithers.
Here’s your chance, Dana: be a human being, be a stand-up person, someone your kids could be proud of…
Ohhhh. So close.
When I pointed out on the Twitter machine (and I should note that both Dana and her sad hipster wanna-be husband both block me on Twitter, so she had to go looking for it) that she was being kind of a dick, well, guess who the real victim is now? Go on ….. guess. I dare you…
Because, poor Dana Loesch, always a victim, never that bright…
