Aretha Franklin’s version of Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ will blow you away
Soul legend Aretha Franklin offered fans a preview of her latest album on Monday by releasing her cover of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” online.
Mashable reported that the 72-year-old singer, who is the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will release an album of 10 covers on Oct. 21. Besides Adele, Franklin will include her versions of songs by other modern artists like Alicia Keys and Chaka Khan alongside other classic soul performers, including Franklin’s rendition of Etta James’ “At Last.”
The song was released hours before Franklin’s appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday night.
