Internet jokesters gleefully shred anti-gay group’s dire warning about ‘the sounds of sodomy’
A Christian organization in Ireland distributed a leaflet ahead of the country’s voter referendum on same-sex marriage warning that widespread acceptance of same-sex relationships will lead to children hearing the “sounds of sodomy” at home.
The New Civil Rights Movement wrote about the leaflet, which Dublin City University lecturer Steve Conlon posted on the social medium Twitter, writing, “No words.”
It’s not currently clear what anti-same-sex marriage group produced the handout, which portentously asked, “Should children be exposed to sounds of sodomy? Should children be exposed to this beastly obsession with unholy acts? Should the sounds of sodomy echo in the halls of a Christian home?”
The Internet wasted no time in mocking the pamphlet and its dire tone.

“Should children be exposed to sounds of sodomy?” Well, if you're doing it right the whole neighborhood will hear. #soundsofsodomy
