Rage Against the Machine star: ‘Racists’ who voted for Trump need to ‘make things right’
Known for his somewhat out-there views, Rage Against the Machine’s Tim Commerford offered words of advice to the “racists” who elected President Donald Trump.
In an interview with TMZ, Commerford said that only Trump’s electorate can fix what he has wrought.
“[Trump’s] a racist, and whoever voted for him is a racist,” Commerford said. “As a racist who voted for a racist, you have an opportunity to make it right and admit that you made the wrong decision.”
“‘I f*cked up,’ that’s what they should say,” he continued. “They should admit that they voted for a racist and that’s how they can make it right.”
He didn’t offer any policy decisions beyond Trump supporters admitting their mistakes.
