At long last, the Times has apologized for misleading reporting in the weeks leading up to the Iraq war. Their primary reporter largely relied on a now-disgraced source (and at that time still questionable), Ahmed Chalabi. Flashback: A former editor blasted staffers for not focusing on the millions killed by Saddam Hussein in light of the recent torture scandal.

A former New York Times restaurant critic who has since left the paper lost 60 pounds since she stopped dining on the Times' behalf.
