I'm currently stranded in Phoenix, Arizona on a consulting job and I can tell you that as horrid as these incidents are - they do not surprise me. Carrying loaded weapons is perfectly legal here and MANY, MANY people do. There is also a HUGE and obvious prejudice against anyone who isn't white and Christian. In other words... it's a perfect replica of hell.

Peemaker-LMAO- Anyway, I hate rednecks and just moved away from an area where they tortured and bullied my child (who is a white kid) and one poisioned my dog in my own fenced yard because I guess he thought the dog barked too much. However, along with rednecks I think illegal aliens from Mexico are causing Mexican Americans to have a hard time. I don't know about AZ, but I know in north Texas where I grew up in the late 70s-80s they were respected in the community and were represented in pretty much any avocation. Many married white people (not that this is a big accomplishment) and no one was "appalled" as they would have been if a white married a black. Now because of this flood of illegals in the last 20 years the Mexcian Americans are being unfairly lumped in with that group which is a shame.
