Comedy Central's "fake" news pundit Stephen Colbert mocked conservative pundit Rush Limbaugh's recent admission that he has "carried water" for Republicans who didn't deserve to have their "water carried."
"It's true, he has carried a lot of water over the years and not just to help him swallow all those pills," said Colbert in reference to Limbaugh's problems with pain medication and alleged "doctor shopping."
Air America's Al Franken also made an appearance on Colbert's show Wednesday night, making fun of President Bush by "dancing in the end zone" to celebrate Democratic midterm election victories while wearing an imaginary flight suit.
Franken refused to apologize to Limbaugh for attacking him for - as Colbert put it - saying "things he didn't mean."
