Evangelical Pastor Ted Haggard has admitted to "sexually immoral conduct" in a letter to the congregation of the New Life Church. Haggard was removed as pastor of the church after members of the oversight board found a pattern of lies and immoral conduct. Haggard had resigned as head of the National Association of Evangelicals as the scandal broke on Oct. 31.

Haggard's accuser, Mike Jones, has agreed to take a second polygraph test to validate his allegations. A first test taken by Jones showed "some deception" regarding Jones' homosexual relationship with Pastor Haggard.

The following video report from CNN includes clips of Haggard to be used in a future documentary by HBO.
