White House Press Secretary Tony Snow has joined a lineup of conservative speakers that includes figures as controversial as Ann Coulter and Jerry Falwell, RAW STORY has learned.

Snow follows in the steps of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, who raised eyebrows last month when he agreed to speak at the "Values Voter Summit" held by the controversial Family Research Council--an organization that has most recently been linked to a push to prosecute for hotel pornography.

The Council, allied with James Dobson's Focus on the Family, American Family Association and Americans United to Preserve Marriage, is holding the event September 22-24, in Washington, D.C. Its aim is to organize efforts to mobilize conservative Christian voters in November.

Snow is scheduled to speak the afternoon of the 22nd.

The White House press secretary and United States Attorney General are set to share the event's stage with Dobson, Jerry Falwell, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Bill Bennett and embattled Senator George Allen.

FRC itself fell under scrutiny last year after The Nation linked group president Tony Perkins to organizations, and a mailing list deal with David Duke.
