President Jimmy Carter delivered a touching eulogy for his predecessor in the Oval Office, the late President Gerald Ford, who passed away on December 26.
Carter spoke at Grace Episcopal Church in East Grand Rapids, Michigan, where Ford will be laid to rest after a week of ceremonies honoring the late 38th president. Hundreds of dignitaries and friends were present for the service.
"I want to thank my predecessor for all he did to heal our land," said Carter.
