Hong Kong- A Hong Kong dentist who was caught taking videos up women's skirts in the street has been banned from practising for one year, a news report said Wednesday. At a Dental Council hearing Tuesday, Poon Chung-ming, 29, was struck off the practitioner's list for 12 months as a result of his criminal conviction, the South China Morning Post reported.
The dentist was found guilty in a Hong Kong court last year of 15 counts of indecency for shooting a series of videos by pointing a camera up women's skirts from December 2003 to October 2004. He was put on probation for 12 months.
Hong Kong has had a spate of incidents involving men taking surreptitious videos up women's skirts since miniature video cameras and mobile phones with video functions became widely available.
