In an interview with Human Events, Rep. Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) played “Satisfaction” and hoped that Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi wouldn’t be brought down by his underage prostitution scandal.

“Well, I can’t play that because evidently he’s found satisfaction by all accounts,” McCotter explained. “But we would hope that an ally of the United States, as someone who has been very emotional about his love for the United States, that such a fine leader is not going to be undone by a scandal such as this.”

“It would be bad for Italian people, it would be bad for the European Union, it would be bad for the United States. So in the end, I hope that the accusations prove false but if not, we will miss you.”
