On Sunday’s “This Week with Chritiane Amanpour”, the roundtable focused on the fallout from the ongoing scandal at Britain’s most notorious tabloid, The News of the World. Rupert Murdoch, owner of the company that owns News of the World is now on the scene in Britain as the paper folds and publishes its last issue.
Questions swirl in the UK about the executive’s involvement in the daily criminal activity taking place at the newspaper. During the ABC roundtable, Court TV’s Steve Brill says that he expects to see challenges to Murdoch’s FCC licenses here in the U.S. by either activists or Democratic politicians.
