In an interview with Al Jazeera English, Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg dismissed whether additional police monitoring could have prevented the recent terror attack in Norway.
“Bombs shall not force us to silence, we shall still be an open democratic society with open political debate,” he said.
Stoltenberg personally knew many of the victims of the attack.
“Norway will not be the same after. We are going to have a Norway before and a Norway after the bomb and the killings, but Norway is going to be possible to recognize.”
