On Monday morning, the BBC interviewed a man with an unusual talent: Artist Lee Hadwin claims he can only draw when he’s asleep.

“[Doctors] can’t understand understand whether I’m in a deep sleep, or what stage I’m at of sleep. I’ve said to them a lot of musicians will write music while they’re asleep, you know they’ll come up with tunes.”

Hadwin added that this strange behavior emerges during his sleep three or four times a week, and that alcohol tends to trigger it.
