NBC’s Matt Lauer talked with John Edwards about his endorsement of Barack Obama. Edwards also discussed Bush’s foreign policy jab at Barack Obama.

Edwards said, “It is beneath the president of the united states to make these kind of clearly political accusations, when he is addressing the people of Israel on the 60th anniversary of Israel. It shouldn’t have been done. It particularly, in combination with what has been an absolutely disastrous foreign policy. Essentially, what he’s saying is what America needs and what the world needs is for eight more years of what we had the last eight years. One thing i’m sure of, regardless of what the President’s intention was, the American people do not want four or eight more years of what they’ve had.”
