MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, Pat Buchanan and Andrea Mitchell talked with The Nation’s Katrina Vanden Heuvel about reports that the Bush Administration has escalated secret military operations inside Iran. Vanden Heuvel is encouraged that the U.S. military is push back against further attacks on Iran.

Vanden Heuvel said, “Very interesting is the war within the administration. If you recall Admiral Fallen was basically pushed out, purged by this administration. You have a fight because the Cheney forces want military action and Robert Gates, the new Secretary of Sefense, Admiral Fallen, who is now out — the military is perhaps more of a restraint than anyone.”
