CNN’s John Roberts talked with Sonny Hostin about a South Carolina plan to offer a Christian license plate. A group of people from various faiths is challenging the religious license plate on the basis that it violates the Establishment Clause of First Amendment.

South Carolina’s Lieutenant Governor Andr‚ Bauer has offered to personally pay $4000 to put the plate into production.

Hostin said, “My legal background tells me that this would be a violation and that a federal judge will probably strike it down.”
