CNN’s John Roberts talked to Sen. Joe Biden about Barack Obama’s national security policy. Biden believes that John McCain is following Barack Obama’s lead on calling for more troops in Afghanistan. Biden said, “The truth of the matter is John McCain’s now realizing the desperate situation in Afghanistan. Says we need more troops. Where do you get them, John? He first said we have to take them out of iraq. What is it? That’s what Barack Obama’s calling for.”

Biden responded to a Washington Post poll where McCain leads Obama 63% to 23% on who would make the best Commander in Chief. Biden said, “We don’t need as a Commander in Chief someone who is a war hero. John’s a war hero. We need someone with widsdom.”
