Maddow: Iraq war surge ended as escalation

The Pentagon announced on Wednesday an end to the surge in Iraq, as the last of the additional five brigades left the country and a troop reduction assessment by Gen. Petraeus is due in 45 days. However, with the official “end” of the surge, there are still 150,000 troops stationed in Iraq. Radio talk show host Rachel Maddow discusses.
