MSNBC’s Hardball played video of a girl who cried during her opportunity to me President Bush during the White House tee-ball game.

BARNACLE: You’ve heard of life imitating art? The same goes for sports too. Check out this moment from yesterday’s White House tee ball game when one girl was given her chance to meet the president.

ANNOUNCER: Emily. There you go. [laughs] We’ll see about emily in a bit here. Let’s go to Tennessee and Meredith Bailey.

BARNACLE: She probably thought she was meeting Dick Cheney. There she is, going, going, gone. Man, Bush really hit that one out of the park. Proof he’s having a hard time getting anyone to stand with him this year.
