Iglesias: Ashcroft forced out over wiretaps opposition

MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski and Mike Barnacle talked with former U.S. Attorney David Iglesias.

Iglesias believes that Ashcroft was effectively forced to resign as Attorney General because he refused to sign off on the Bush administration’s warentless wiretap program. Iglesias said, “I think he was [forced out] for not signing off on the clearly unconstitutional wiretap program.”
