Critics: Homophobic cartoon takes campaigning to new low

CNN’s John Roberts talked with Brian Rinehart who created a comic bolster his campaign to be reelected as Oklahoma Country Commissioner. The cartoon has been criticized as homophobic by Rinehart’s opponents.

Rinehart said, “One person’s mud slinging, I guess, is another man’s issues. Here in the state of Oklahoma, Oklahoma County, I believe that homosexual agenda is an issue in this campaign.”
