(AP) During a driving tour of the company’s North Carolina compound, Blackwater Worldwide founder and CEO Eric Prince told The Associated Press that the company plans a shift away from the security contracting business.

Prince discourage new companies from focusing on security contracting because of the decreased need in Iraq. Prince said, “Whoever takes over in January, whatever party, the U.S. government is still going to need a lot of this kind of work done.”
