After the anti-gay debacle of the “South Carolina is so gay” ad, you’d think the bumf*ck politicians would want to stay beneath the radar, but no…

Look at what is on the blog of State Senator Kevin L. Bryant of South Carolina. He says that his posts are normally comments you won’t see in the news. You’ve got that right, Bryant:

On marriage, Bryant is where you’d expect:

Bryant will support legislation and or a Constitutional Amendment defining marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The basic institution of humanity is under attack by the extreme left and Bryant will stand firm.

I guess you will not be surprised that Bryant is a member of the NRA, National Right To Life, the Christian Coalition, Concerned Women for America, the Palmetto Family Council and the S.C. Policy Council.

See the comments left at his blog below the fold.

Stay classy while you’re at Christian camp. Are you going to be showing that photo to all of the campers? I’m sure it’s just the thing to bring that spirit into their lives.

Why did you change the title from “vacation and funny picture” to just plain “picture?”

4. idiots Says:

it’s a joke. Also, anyone not scared to death that someone as unqualified as Obama may be the next President is stupid. He is not qualified. If he is elected, we are in big trouble. God save our country.

What is your definition of “experience?” Oh you mean, like W. Bush’s one term as Governor?? Yeah, that sure did give him a helluva lot of experience in matters of national security, international relations and the like – surely much more than the experience a United States Senator would get!

6. idiots Says:

Bush was governor for 1 full term and one half term. Name one thing Barak Hussein Obama has done. What has he accomplished (besides getting elected)?

Nothing. He is an idiot. He can speak. that’s it. You all are a bunch of idiots. Vote for the fool. See where are country is in 4 years.

Well, Idiot, Barack was an state Senator for 10 years and a U.S. Senator for (about 3 prior to taking office), but he was also a consitutional law scholar and not just on the Harvard Law review, but also the President. I think what “qualifies some one to be President” is a tough question to answer, but I don’t think that he is “clearly unqualified.”

“Idiot” is worried about Obama’s qualifications. Let’s consider the current president. On the surface, George W. Bush was more than qualified for office. The scion of an extremely wealthy and influential New England family. He attended Landover Prep and performed admirably in his role as cheerleader. He graduated from Yale and then from Harvard where he received an MBA. After college he ran several businesses (albeit into the ground) and he was governor the nation’s second largest state. Despite that experience, he failed miserably. Lesson learned? Experience is overrated. Competence is a much better characteristic. Despite his criticism, “Idiot” concedes Obama is articulate. That characteristic goes a long way. Reagan lacked Bush’s training but he was far more successful. Why? He was articulate, too.

You don’t have to have been elected President to be qualified to be President. Barack Obama is a smart man–his education and track record proves it. He’s been in the Senate for less than a full term and, he said it himself, he knew his first term there would be a learning experience. But, being a smart man, he’s probably learned a thing or two about how Government works. That’s what smart people do. Your douchebag President, W, didn’t bother to learn s___ while he was at Yale; didn’t learn shit while he was in the private sector and sure as hell he hasn’t learned shit in the last eight years except that most Americans hate his guts.

Classy! So classy! You South Carolinians are something to behold.

An elected official forwarding an agenda of ignorance and hate. And you wonder why South Carolina ranks among the lowest of the low as far as education, child health rates and high on the list of fetal death. Take care of the people you are supposed to represent before you spew your font of elistist ignorance to the rest of the world.

Well, I may have my voting problems down here but at least I try to do things the right way. One thing I certainly don’t do is elect people like this douchebag Bryant. What hay wagon did he fall off of? I’m feeling so much better about myself…

Aside from the fact that this is racist against millions of innocent Muslims in the world — including many who are American citizens, it shows blatant disrespect toward a duly-elected Senator of our country.

I have survived a terrorist suicide bombing and I think it is inflammatory for you to connect the possible future president of the United States with an evil man who killed many innocent victims. If some crazy person kills Barack Obama — part of the blood could well be on YOUR hands.

I will be sending a copy of this page to my local FBI office and Secret Service Offices. Expect a visit from one of them soon.

Have a great day!!

Incredible. Comparing a nominee for President of the United States, one that over 17 million people voted for in the primary, to a terrorist who’s personally responsible for the deaths of 3000 Americans?

For shame, Senator Bryant. We are awaiting your apology.

I’m glad this campaign season is flushing out idiots like you, so we can all see exactly who you are and what kind of values you hold!

Hat tip, Fiona.
