ABC’s George Stephanopoulos talked to John McCain about comments his made earlier in the week about Barack Obama’s plan for a 16 month withdrawal from Iraq. John McCain had told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that 16 month was “a pretty good timetable.”

In responding to Stephanopoulos, McCain denied his earlier statement. McCain said, “I didn’t use the word ‘timetable.’”
