ABC: Actual budget deficit nearly $600 billion
On Monday, a White House report showed that the U.S. budget deficit would balloon to 482 million in 2009. ABC’s Claire Shipman reported that the actual deficit is closer to $600 billion when war, unemployment costs, medicare fees, and the new housing bill is included.
