MSNBC’s Dan Abrams talked with Huffington Post editor Roy Sekoff, Republican strategist Andrea Tantaros and Democratic analyst Tanya Acker about a flip-flop by the McCain campaign on a pledge not to raise taxes.

Speaking to George Stephanopoulos about the possibility of raising payroll taxes, John McCain said, “There is nothing that’s off the table.” On Tuesday, McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds told Fox host Megyn Kelly that tax increases were “absolutely out of the question.”

Confused by the McCain spokesman’s apparent disagreement with the candidate, Dan Abrams asked, “Did i miss something there or did john mccain just say, ‘It is on the table’ and then his campaign spokesperson almost mocked it as if, ‘Oh, don’t listen to that guy. Come on. He doesn’t represent the campaign?’”
