Keith Olbermann announced that Dana Milbank would no longer be appearing on MSNBC Countdown after dispute over a Obama quote published by Milbank.

Obama supporters quote Obama as saying, “It has become increasingly clear in my campaign it’s not about me at all. It’s about america. I have just become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions.”

Milbank had only published part of the quote, “I have just become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions.”

Olbermann explained Milbank’s leaving the show. Olbermann said, “We have decided not to have Dana on our newshour again until this was cleared up and sadly after some very happy years he has apparently chosen to make the cloud permanent. Good luck, Dana.”
