Obama Is Doing Exactly What We Want…That’s Not Kosher!
Republicans are perpetually obsessed with fake voter registrations and its nefarious effects on how much bored college students get paid.
This is why I am consistently amazed at the efforts to paint Obama as some ne’er-do-well because he vetted petition signatures for candidates he competed against. Fake voter registrations, which don’t even allow the people who don’t exist to exercise the franchise, are a direct assault on our democracy, yet candidates submitting invalid petitions for candidacy using people not in their district should be protected from the nefarious Chicago machine.
Letting your opponents break the law (however technical that is) is apparently the new kind of politics conservatives have been waiting for. Hell’s bells, we could have told you that in 2000!
