CNN and Politifact are doing a joint “fact-checking” bit, which was introduced with a series of comments about how “both sides” are sending out the lies fast and furious. The ridiculous part about it is that if you go through the archives at Politifact, it’s obvious that by any standard, Democrats are telling the truth far more than Republicans are.

Browse through the pages and note how often “False” comes up for Republicans versus Democrats. There’s a reason for this: Republicans lie a whole fucking bunch. You’d think that after months of seeing Republicans lie much more often than Democrats, a site focused on getting the facts out to Americans would, in fact, start saying such a thing rather than participating in an inherent lie themselves.

Of course, admitting that both sides aren’t equal doesn’t get you on TV and doesn’t get the bills paid.
