Fox’s Chris Wallace asked Karl Rove to comment on negative campaigning by Barack Obama. Rove spoke on one advertisement that is critical of McCain for not knowing how to use a computer. Rove blamed McCain’s computer illiteracy on his status as a POW.

Rove said, “But they then say he doesn’t even know how to use — doesn’t send email. Well, this is because his war injuries keep him from being able to use a keyboard. He can’t type. It’s like saying he can’t do jumping jacks. There’s a reason he can’t raise his arms above his head. There’s a reason he doesn’t have the nimbleness in his fingers.”

A Huffington Post report claims McCain is learning to use a computer and is capable of using electronic devices.
