Sarah Palin, when challenged to name a SCOTUS decision besides Roe v. Wade, couldn’t come up with one.

Unsurprisingly, the McCain campaign is holding CBS responsible for daring to think that might be something a major presidential nominee ought to know, and isn’t holding Palin responsible for, you know, not knowing.

Considering that the constituency that Palin was nominated to appease—the religious right—is more interested in the court appointments than any other factor, this is especially baffling.
