ABC’s George Stephanopoulos talked with George Will and Katrina Vanden Heuvel about an ABC poll that showed Obama has being the “safe pick” as president. Will said, “He does seem to have perfected the art of looking presidential by contrast in a way with John McCain.”

NBC’s Tom Brokaw talked with Peggy Noonan explained that Obama demeanor was more beneficial than McCain’s. Noonan said, “With Obama, there is greater sense that if there is a tiger in that tank, he doesn’t have to work hard to contain it. There is still that languidness and calm that is serving him well and it is one of the unspoken things that’s helping him.”

This video is from ABC’s This Week and NBC’s Meet the Press, broadcast October 5, 2008.
