imageGotcha, asshole.

A leading American neo-conservative author has been detained by immigration authorities in Kenya as he tried to launch a book smearing Barack Obama.

Jerome Corsi, of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth fame, was this morning being held after failing to reckon with Obamamania.

He had been planning to launch his book, entitled The Obama Nation Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality, before travelling to one of Nairobi’s slums to donate money to the Senator’s half-brother George, who was found living in squalid conditions two months ago.

Little was he aware that Kenya’s anti-douchebag containment provisions went into effect on October 1st. Sad what happens when you don’t read the brochures at AAA.

The story behind this is that Corsi was in Kenya to both promote his book about how Obama is an evil socialist Kenyan fascist terrorist to other evil socialist Kenyan fascist terrorists who love the shit out of him (presumably, there’s a reverse psychology at work where him saying crazy shit about Obama is lapped up by his Kenyan brothers and sisters who just love the fact that there’s a book about the guy, whatever it says) and also to patronize and humiliate George Obama, Barack’s half brother.

In an apparent publicity stunt, the author had planned to visit Mr Obama’s half-brother George, who lives in a Nairobi slum, to hand him $1,000 in cash as a ‘goodwill’ gift.

George Obama has been misquoted on many right wing American websites as saying that he lives on $1 a month, an inaccuracy which has been picked up by Obama’s enemies and used as evidence that the candidate has turned his back on his needy family.

“I have not heard from this man, but even if he came here with that money, I would not take it from him,” George Obama told The Daily Telegraph.

Corsi’s alleged violation was not having the proper visa to enter the country. If he was detained and deported because of the anti-Obama things that he said, no matter how vile, it was most certainly wrong. However, I can’t really have too much sympathy for a guy whose main purpose was pulling off a transcontinental dick move of epic proportions with the specific purpose of humiliating one man because he happens to be related to another. But still, you know. Bad Kenya. Bad! No ice cream for you tonight. (I kid, it’s a shitty thing to do, if they did it, no matter how respledently shitty Corsi himself is.)
