Michelle Malkin put up that picture to discredit Colin Powell.

Her caption is “Gravitas”.

Perhaps she would feel he’s more dignified if he issued his endorsement while dressed as a cheerleader.

I have yet to see a conservative grappling with this that avoids the temptation to race bait. Malkin comes the closest—she scolds the race-baiters in her thread. But then panders on affirmative action, as if there’s no such thing as an old guard white Republican who supports affirmative action. (There’s plenty.) And needless to say, the whole point of putting up the picture is race-baiting. Because, if your only motivation is making Powell look ridiculous, then you’re much better off with a picture of him singing “YMCA” in Indonesia.
