MSNBC’s David Shuster asked Obama spokesman Bill Burton to comment on a 2001 radio interview where Barack Obama remarked on “redistributive change.” Burton said that the controversy had been “drummed up by Fox News and the Drudge Report.”

Burton recommended reading an Politico interview with Obama advisor Cass Sustein for a get a fuller context of Obama’s comments.
