CBS’ Kimberly Dozier reported that President Bush is making changes like easing regulations for industry in his last days. The White House says it’s push to easy industry regulations is unfinished business, but others see it as controversial.

Among the 90 new regulations in the works are moves to open up more land to oil and gas drilling. Including, near Utah’s Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Ann Aurilio of Environment America is a critic of the proposed regulations. “The Bush Administration is going to start handing out access to these places like party favors and the American public will lose as a result,” said Aurilio.
