Idaho students chant ‘assassinate Obama’ on school bus
Matthew Whoolery couldn’t believe it when his second and third grade children told him what students were saying on the school bus. “They were chanting on the bus, ‘Assassinate Obama. Assassinate Obama.’ Then adding in a name sometimes of a classmate on the bus, ‘Assassinate Obama and Kate.’”
Whoolery told KIDK 2 News that his kids didn’t understand the meaning of the word. After explaining what the word assassinate means, Whoolery contacted the school.
The superintendent of Madison school district in Idaho sent an email to principals, teachers and bus drivers telling them that all students show show proper respect for public officials.
